When you create an account or use FP Network services, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account Data: Name, email address, organization name, and hashed password credentials.
  • Usage Data: Upload timestamps, file sizes, API call frequency, and bandwidth consumption metrics.
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, TLS version, and session identifiers.
  • Payment Data: Billing address and payment method details (processed by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor).

2. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to operate and improve FP Network infrastructure, including provisioning storage buckets, enforcing rate limits, generating usage analytics on your dashboard, processing payments, and communicating service announcements. We do not use your data for advertising purposes and will never sell personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Encryption

All files uploaded to FP Network are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. Data in transit is protected by TLS 1.3. Our edge nodes are distributed across multiple geographic regions within the European Union, and all infrastructure complies with ISO 27001 security standards. Backups are encrypted and retained for 30 days before secure deletion.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not deploy third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or fingerprinting scripts. Anonymous analytics may be collected to monitor platform health and detect abuse patterns.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We may share data with trusted sub-processors solely for the purpose of delivering our services (e.g., payment processing, CDN edge delivery). All sub-processors are contractually obligated to handle data in compliance with GDPR. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Access a copy of all personal data we hold about you
  • Request rectification of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities
  • Export your data in a machine-readable format (data portability)
